So this weekend was sooo much fun!! Nathan and I decided to take a road trip to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences up in Raleigh since we both had the weekend off of work. :) It was a long drive, though it didn't feel like it was that bad going up, though coming home we were both tired, so it made for a much longer drive. When we arrived, the place they had to parking was filled to the max, so we had to drive about a block away and park on the street like the other cars were doing. It was a nice day, so I didn't mind the walk, despite it being a little bit chilly outside. :) When we arrived to the museum, we went into one building first and walked around downstairs and into the gift shop. After that, we proceeded to head into the main museum where we began our journey by walking around looking at all the really neat things they had. Each floor was a little bit different, complete from dinosaurs to the forest, and everything in between! It was really fun to see all the things they had on display and they way it was laid out. :) I especially liked the huge waterfall they had in the forest exhibit! I thought it was really cool! :) After walking through the first couple of floors we stopped to eat some lunch b/c Nathan was starving and we hadn't really eaten anything, so we got some food, which was delicious! :) I had a ham sandwhich, and nathan had fries, and pizza. :) It was a nice break from the walking, and filled out bellies up until next time we would eat! :) After lunch we proceeded to walk around the last floors in the museum only before finishing up there and hunting for all the down escalators! haha! :) After we were done walking around we went into the gift shop and I found a cute heart shape necklace and i got that to remember our road trip! :) Once we were done walking around the museum, we proceeded to hop back into the car and drive home. On our way back home, we stopped in gso so i could stop into Jakes and say hey, and show Nathan where i went to college, and the place we always hung out at. We didn't stay in town long and soon enough we were on our way to concord mills mall to walk around there for a bit. :) While walking around, we stopped in the disney store :D and also walked into the bass pro shop and books a million. The mall had really changed since I was there last, and I couldn't believe it! It was a nice break from being in the car all day b/c i'm pretty sure we were both sick of siting on our bums! haha! :) After the mall we headed to blockbuster to grab some movies and then went to get some food so we could have something to eat. We got back to his place and put in grandma's boy and ate our dinner. After that movie finished up we put in man on fire, which i fell asleep about half way through. I said i was going to take a 30 minute nao, but i ended up sleeping all night long! After that movie...i think natthan started to watch blade trinity, but he passed out in the middle so when we got up this morning, we finished watching that, as well as legend of the guardians and charlie st. cloud. Both of which were pretty good! :) During Charlie St. Cloud, Amber and Kenzie showed up and they stayed and hung out with us for the rest of the day until Brandon got off of work later. When he showed up they stayed for a little bit, and then headed out about 8pm or so. I was next to go, and I headed homje around 9pm for Nathan could get some sleep since he has to be up at like 4ish or so for work rtomorrow. I also have to get up early,. but not near thaaaat early. Speaking of early..it's now about 11:30pm and I need to say goodnight and hit the hay! So until next time....This is the blob saying, adios!

Weekend Fun!
This weekend Nathan and I both have off of work so we decided to do something fun and take a road trip to Raleigh and go see the museum of natural history they have! I'm looking forward to it and I think it's going to be a great time! It's supposed to be 4 floors of really neat exhibits and different things to look at, I'm excited to see what the adventure will bring about! :) That being said, I'll head down to his place tonight around 9:30ish when he gets off of work, and then we will leave from there tomorrow morning at like 7am! Sooooo early, but it is a 3 hour drive, so I don't blame him for wanting to get up and go, I think it will be better that way anyways because we will arrive there around 10 or 10:30 depending on traffic and then have the entire day to explore the museum and if we finish up there early other possible cool places in raleigh too! :) Overall I'm sure this weekend is going to be very very fun! :D
Last night Nathan came here and I made fruit pizza with lots of kiwi's b/c i know how much he likes them! :) After he arrived we hung out here for a bit finishing his intro, and then proceeded on to go to Killington's for dinner...or as he likes to call it "Kirklands" lol! :) The service there was not very good and we were all disappointed. We came to the conclusion that it's much better to go to for lunch, b/c dinner is just slow and not good. We didn't get our drinks refilled as often as we would have liked, it took awhile for our order to be taken..it was just all around not a place to go back to for dinner that's for sure! Next time we will have to go somewhere better..like longhorn, or chili's or o'charleys, or some place like that. :) On second thought, maybe I will be better and I can hunt through the recipe books and find something really satisfying to make for dinner! :) That would be even better than going out to eat!
On another note, I just downloaded some more songs to listen to on my drive to and from Nathan's. I have been going down there so often, that i've exhausted all of the music i have on my CDs and in my ipod. I decided it was time that i get some more music to listen to on my drive. :)
Well, I have to finish washing my jeans and go throw some things together to take with me tonight.

Career Possibility..
So I was sitting at Nathan's the other night, and we were working on editing something together for him. I hadn't really piddled around with FCP since Jen's wedding b/c I was so tired of working on projects I just kind of gave up on film, and all things related to it. Well, while we were working on piecing together a video of his, I was sitting there thinking I really love doing this, and I enjoy the satisfaction when everything comes together and it's all done and finished. At the same moment I thought that, I also realized I didn't ever want to work on a large project. I was thinking what could I work on that's like short in length and would also involve film? I started thinking and nothing popped into my head. Then a little while later, I was thinking about the episode of FRIENDS where chandler goes into advertising and has to come up with an idea for a commercial for these new skate shoes. That got me thinking that I could get into commercial editing and work on piecing together commercials. This would use my film degree, and they wouldn't be anymore than like maybe 5 minutes at max in length (most would be 45 seconds to 2 minutes tops in length) and i actually might enjoy doing this. So now I'm on a mission to look up jobs in the commercial editing field and find out if I'd be qualified with my film degree to persue such a job. I have to thank Nathan for getting me back into editing, b/c I honestly don't think I would have ever opened that program again if he didn't want help on his video of brandon playing play station move. So thank you!! And thanks for saying were going to find something to do with my degree, it somehow stuck in the back of my head and has gotten me this far..now all i have to do is figure out what's next and compile a resume...this should be fun. lol!! :) well, until next time....

Much Needed.
So this is my much needed update! I've been sooooo busy lately that i haven't had much time to sit and post, and when i have, i really haven't felt like updating much. But now i have the day off, so i'm going to update and fill you in as to what's been going on recently...
Well a few days ago nathan came up and met my family when i got out of work. :) I think it went well, we're pretty quiet and laid back, mostly all kind of doing our own thing, but were still talkative too. Nathan showed up and we went out to birkdale and walked around there for a little bit and then headed over to Jetton Park so I could show him the lake we live near, (which i'm still wondering if he's going to post the pictures up on facebook from...cough cough...hint hint...lol :D ) and then we walked out to the sandy beach area before we (mostly me) almost froze into a popcicle and then decided to head back to where it was warm!! After which we headed over to mall where he bought me Natedog at build a bear, and he got to see where i worked. I saw where he worked when i decided on my day off last week to show up and surprise him and take him out to lunch. :) That was a fun day. I bought him a halo poster to put up in his room when i showed up which i think he really liked, though now every time we go into a store he always looking to see if they have any halo merchandise. :) He's such a nut, but it's okay, b/c we all have our geek moments...mine comes in the form of anything disney and shiny objects, where as his comes in the form of halo and anything gaming related! :) When we were done puttsing around the mall and freezing our tooshes off, we headed back to the house where my mom had prepared a chicken and rice dinner to eat and we gobbled that down and then went upstairs and popped in a whole bunch of movies and watched them all night, before finally passing out around..well who knows when, but it was late. It was a nice time, though next time I will have more things planned for us to do, that way we won't be driving around until we come up with something! :) Though I did think that maybe when both of us have a few days off of work in a row, maybe we could drive down to wilmington and hang out with my sister and her boyfriend for a couple of days so she could meet nathan, and he could meet her. I think it would be a nice getaway for a couple of days, also there's a beach there, so if it was warmer, we could go there..and if it's cold..well we could still go, just maybe not go swimming. lol! :)
I met his family yesterday, i drove down to his house when i got off of work and we drove over to his parents house once i got there. His family was super welcoming and very nice. They were so talkative and i had a lot of fun meeting them. I left wondering when we can go back, they were such nice people. His sisters were really nice, and his mom and dad were so kind. I can def. see where he gets his hilarity from. We were laughing the entire night while playing scategories...not the mention when i sat in the broken chair and went SPLAT on the floor. WHICH, mind you, was HILARIOUS, once i found out the chair was already broken, and not a family heirloom. :) haha, oh it was tooo funny, i was thinking, where's the camera when you need it?! haha! Whan we showed we went out to eat at this delicious buffet place called ambers! After eating some grub, we headed to the movies to go and see "The Dilemma" which was a really good and hilarious movie! :) I really enjoyed it. Overall I had a great time meeting his family and hanging out with them for the evening, they are truly remarkable people and Nathan is blessed to have such great people in his life. I'm glad he introduced me to them.
Backing up a few days, my cousin rachel and I hung out for the day before she had to go and babysit, and we went out to lunch with my uncle and then drove over to the nature preserve and walked to the hut that's down there. If it wasn't to cold we would have probably gone over to jetton park, but it being cold and all, we would have frozen our butts off I have feeling!! It was nice to be able to spend some time with her, b/c we haven't hung out, just the two of us, in quite some time, so it was def. due for another fun adventure!! Though our adventure for the furry cows didn't go so well, b/c they weren't out, yet again, when we went looking for them. :( Nobody believes me that they exist, but i know they do, b/c i've seen them before!! :D lol!
LOL! I was watching spongebob with my brother and the robot says "care for another sundae weenie?" and spongebob says "I am not a weenie" I am reminded of familiar conversations b/w nathan and i....is it bad if similar dialogue ends up in a kids cartoon??? NAH! B/c it's a popular one..so it's all good!! :D
Aside from my epic adventures hanging out with Nathan and company, I haven't really been up to much other than work. Which is going alright, I think Moses and I finally have our system down so we know how to get through shipment pretty quckly, which has proven to be a huge advantage on our end! Now all we have to do is get though it quickly so we can organize the back work station so it will be user friendly. I would recommend that when people sort the hangers, they separate the gripper ones from the non-gripper ones, b/c that would def. make it a little easier for us that's for sure! I mean, you would think that'd be common sense..but for whatever reason, it never gets done...go figure! lol! :)
Oh so the other night I was working until 9pm and Moses was working until 8pm, and he said he didn't want to get on the bus home, so i asked where he lived and when he said off of 21, i offered to take him home, thinking it'd be like 10 minutes from my house, turns out it was actually some 20 minutes or so out of my way, so i had to drive him there and go back home to sleep for a bit before i had to be up at 5am for work the next day!! We didn't get out of work until almost 10:30 because we had to finish up shipment since floorset was in the morning, and i was a part of it.
On that note, when we were working Moses and i were talking about our boyfriends (he's gay, in case you hadn't figured this one out yet) and he told me he has almost molded and changed his boyfriend into his perfect guy. This got me thinking....I don't think you should try and change somebody to make them what you want them to be, but should love a person because of who they already are. I understand maybe talking to them about like hey i dont like that you say this, or have you ever thought about doing this...that i get, but trying to change their entire way of thinking and the way the behave is not a good thing. I think if you love somebody, you love all of them, even those seemingly petty little things and the great things they offer! :) I don't think you should try and change a person into something they are not, it will only just blow up in your face later.
Anyways, can i just rave about how fantastic my boyfriend is for minute? He's just such a remarkable person and i'm so thankful I met him and I love spending time with him and hearing all he has to say, and everything. He's just so amazing. How did I get so lucky to meet such an amazing guy? There's so many things about him I love, his sense of humor, kind heart, caring personality, and so much more! He's just great! :) Whenever I'm not spending time with him, I think about the next time we will and what adventures we might get into, b/c one thing is for sure, there's never a dull moment when it comes to us hanging out!! :D
Okay, I think I'm finally ready to wrap this up! I wanted to end on a happy note and i think i succeeded! :)

The Last 3 Days..Or So...
Yea, yea, yea. I know, I know. I haven't been on here in awhile to update you as to what's been going on, so prepare yourself b/c I'm probably about to write a novel of sorts telling you everything that has been going on.
Well, work has been work, seems like these days all I'm ever scheduled for anymore is either stock/shipment or floorset. I kind of (kind of being the key term) miss being on the floor. I miss the floor because time always goes by soooo much more quickly when i'm working on the register ringing out customers, and what not. But at the same time I like being in the back working on shipment because I don't have to deal with the ridiculous questions and comments the customers sometimes ask and or say.
tired of typing...more later. okay...make that tired of thinking...semi intelligently, so i'm done....for now...more later.

Sleepy Blob.
So I haven't updated this in awhile, and I have a lot to talk about, buuuuuut, I'm supposed to be picking up my cousin in 2 hours from school, and I feel like sleeping, so I think I'm going to take a nap right quick, and I will be on later to post more. :) .......Until Then......

Gum.
So today my mom comes into my room with 3 new packs of this mentos gum and says "so your sweetheart can chew four pieces" lol. I was telling her how Nathan liked the gum i had in my car, and she got more for me to put in there for him and i to eat. :)
So my day started around 5am this morning. I got up and got ready for work, i had to be there bright and early at 6am to help out with inventory. I had never worked on inventory so i wasn't really sure what was going to happen, but i soon caught on when i showed up. We basically go behind the people who were scanning the bar codes of all the product, and double count to make sure they have the same number we got, and everything is there and accounted for. I enjoyed working this shift, and it was actually a lot of fun. I like the repetitive nature of inventory and would do it everyday if i could. :)
After work I went home and my mom, uncle, dad and i went out to eat at hickory tavern where i got a salad and it was most delicious, especially since it was one of those build your own salads! :)
After lunch I was home for maybe 20 minutes max before boredom hit and i decided to go shopping. So i hopped in my car and drove to the mall to spend some money and shop. I bought 6 t-shirts from work, all the same style, but all different colors, for under 60 dollars!! I also got a pair of tights to go under these cute shorts i got at torrid for 15 dollars, and i came up with a great idea to wear the entire outfit with a cute pair of boots, and i think it'll look kind of cute...though i'm to lazy to try it on now since i've been awake since 5am and haven't slept yet today.
Which speaking of, one would think i would be exhausted b/c i haven't been sleeping well without Nathan by my side at night, and i had to get up at 5am this morning, but actually, i've been pretty hyper all day and haven't really felt the need to take a nap yet. I think this whole not being a blob thing is wearing off on me. I guess Nathan was right when he said he'd cure me of my blobishness. :) I may have had my doubts, but I think he might be onto something. Which speaking of, I miss him soooooo much right now. I'm hoping Tuesday we can hang out, since i get off of work at 11am, and he has that day and wednesday off, and on wednesday i don't have to be at work until 1pm which is always nice. :) But man, i can't keep sleeping this terrible without him here. I have been tossing and turning and feeling anxious all night and i don't like it. I miss having him there to snuggle up to and stay warm.
side note: i just got a text from Nathan and it says "you need to update your blog so i can have something to read" lol. little did he know i was working on that very thing! :)
okay, so anyways, where was i?? oh right, the whole sleeping thing...i'm beginning to think it's a lost cause..though maybe tonight i will be wiped out enough from work and having been awake for 18 plus hours straight that i will be able to sleep really well. who knows?! but anyways... my thoughts these days have all been focused around one person, fred, lol, just kidding. They have all been focused around Nathan. I find myself throughout the day wondering what he's up to, if he's thinking about me, how his day is going..etc. I always hope weather he's thinking about me or not, that his day is going well and he's not too bored at work, or where ever he might find himself. :)
OH! so while i was shopping tonight, i came up with such a brilliant idea...but if i told you, i'd have to kill you, so my idea remains to be a secret. :p lol! I'll post my idea at a later date to get feedback, but for right now i'm kind of set on the thought that it's a secret...make it's kind of sneaky like. haha!!
I ran into Lacy while i was shopping and we decided that we would go out to dinner when she got off of work, so at around like 7pm we went out fox and hound and ate some delicious food and watched the end of the football game...uuh ravens and somebody...i believe...and she watched some of her bull riding that SHE love and I hate..haha! i'm scared to watch..it's to intense for me, and makes my anxiety act up more..so i tend to stay away from watching it...that, and i really have no desire to watch it anyways. But anxiety is the number one reason i don't watch a lot of things...such as house, and er, and all those gross medical shows. They scare me. :/ i don't like them..i'd much rather stick with glee, and trueblood. :D WHICH btw i CANT wait for the season to come back...idk when it's due, but i really hope it comes back soon, b/c i LOVE that show!! (trueblood is the one i'm talking about) I do love glee too, but it just ended and i'm more anxious for trueblood than i am for glee. :)

I bought 6 t-shirts from work, all the same style, but all different colors, for under 60 dollars!! I also got a pair of tights to go under these cute shorts i got at torrid for 15 dollars, and i came up with a great idea to wear the entire outfit with a cute pair of boots, and i think it'll look kind of cute...though i'm to lazy to try it on now since i've been awake since 5am and haven't slept yet today.
Which speaking of, one would think i would be exhausted b/c i haven't been sleeping well without Nathan by my side at night, and i had to get up at 5am this morning, but actually, i've been pretty hyper all day and haven't really felt the need to take a nap yet. I think this whole not being a blob thing is wearing off on me. I guess Nathan was right when he said he'd cure me of my blobishness. :) I may have had my doubts, but I think he might be onto something. Which speaking of, I miss him soooooo much right now. I'm hoping Tuesday we can hang out, since i get off of work at 11am, and he has that day and wednesday off, and on wednesday i don't have to be at work until 1pm which is always nice. :) But man, i can't keep sleeping this terrible without him here. I have been tossing and turning and feeling anxious all night and i don't like it. I miss having him there to snuggle up to and stay warm.
side note: i just got a text from Nathan and it says "you need to update your blog so i can have something to read" lol. little did he know i was working on that very thing! :)
okay, so anyways, where was i?? oh right, the whole sleeping thing...i'm beginning to think it's a lost cause..though maybe tonight i will be wiped out enough from work and having been awake for 18 plus hours straight that i will be able to sleep really well. who knows?! but anyways... my thoughts these days have all been focused around one person, fred, lol, just kidding. They have all been focused around Nathan. I find myself throughout the day wondering what he's up to, if he's thinking about me, how his day is going..etc. I always hope weather he's thinking about me or not, that his day is going well and he's not too bored at work, or where ever he might find himself. :)
OH! so while i was shopping tonight, i came up with such a brilliant idea...but if i told you, i'd have to kill you, so my idea remains to be a secret. :p lol! I'll post my idea at a later date to get feedback, but for right now i'm kind of set on the thought that it's a secret...make it's kind of sneaky like. haha!!
I ran into Lacy while i was shopping and we decided that we would go out to dinner when she got off of work, so at around like 7pm we went out fox and hound and ate some delicious food and watched the end of the football game...uuh ravens and somebody...i believe...and she watched some of her bull riding that SHE love and I hate..haha! i'm scared to watch..it's to intense for me, and makes my anxiety act up more..so i tend to stay away from watching it...that, and i really have no desire to watch it anyways. But anxiety is the number one reason i don't watch a lot of things...such as house, and er, and all those gross medical shows. They scare me. :/ i don't like them..i'd much rather stick with glee, and trueblood. :D WHICH btw i CANT wait for the season to come back...idk when it's due, but i really hope it comes back soon, b/c i LOVE that show!! (trueblood is the one i'm talking about) I do love glee too, but it just ended and i'm more anxious for trueblood than i am for glee. :)

Tales from a sleepy blob..
Well this blob won't be posting to much tonight, since she has to be up at 5am for working in the morning...but here's a run down of the day....
Well I slept like crap last night and tossed and turned the entire night b/c Nathan wasn't by my side. I got used to him being in the bed with me, and when he wasn't there, it was lonely, and so i didn't sleep well in my "stupid big bed." lol...there's a story behind that quote..but i'll save that for another time, when i'm more awake. So anyways, I woke up finally around 11am, and got ready for work, and then my mom and I went out to lunch at brixx (which is this really delicious wood fried pizza place, it's seriously worth checking out if you've never been before!) and then she dropped me off at work around 1pm. I started out the day finishing up shipment from the day before that i didn't get through and that lasted me until 4pm, and then at 4pm i went to work on the register and help out on the floor. Well once we got enough people in to help out, i was to bring everything out from the back i had processed earlier. I worked really hard to get that out on the floor, and then finally finished that around 9pm and left to go home.
Nothing to exciting happened, although i did see two cars almost wreck into each other, and the guy then get out of his car and start to yell at the person in the other car, it was crazy. My mom said it was a relationship spout, to which i thought, "well sheesh, i'm glad i'm not on the other end of that one." It was not pretty, she hoped no guns or anything would be brought out, that's how mad the guy was. I was definitely glad to be driving away from there at that point. After i got home i ate some food and climbed into bed, where i'm now blogging and about to pass out, b/c i have to be up at 5am to go to work tomorrow morning. Positive side: I don't have to deal with customers, and i also get to wear whatever i want, b/c we will be working on inventory in the morning. :)
well until tomorrow....This is the blob saying goodnight world!

working girl..
So today I had to go to work. Now I'm the type of person who's like I don't want to go work, whyyyy do I have to work? I wish they would just call me out of work, and not make me go. Yet, whenever I get there I'm glad that i went and I actually enjoy being there. You see, everybody I get work with is super nice and I get along with them really well. I don't have much to complain about work, and there has only really ever been one day that I was super tired and felt like I didn't want to be there at all. (That's another story, for another time.) Anyways, today was no exception. I got into work around noon and started working on sorting and processing the shipment that we had from the days prior. Moses (one of the guys who I work with) and I got to work together on shipment and I thought "Oh yea! This will go by a lot quicker and we can get a lot processed fairly quickly with the both of us!" Well, I was a little off on this thinking, you see, when i started working in the back Dayna was manager, and she would always come back and tell me i need to work faster and that I'm not working fast enough. (At the time I was ready to cry b/c I had so much to do and thought I was working plenty fast enough) However, in the long run I thank her for it, b/c it has made me get through shipment much faster and I'm quick and efficient with unpacking and censoring the clothes. This brings me to today...Moses and I were in the back working on processing all the clothes and getting them hung and censored which was going alright, until we got to denim. You see, before, Moses had up wrapped the clothes and I had censored and hung them all, so this time we decided to switch roles, I unpacked and he hung and censored. Well, since he's still new to working in the back, he's not as quick as i am, so i got everything unpacked and he was still working on censoring. I had to stop unpacking and help him catch up, which i felt slowed me down a little bit. He said he was working as quickly as he could, but i felt as thought it could have moved faster. Though, i understand what it's like working there, and you have to get the rhythm down and so i was understanding of that so i wasn't to worried about it. However I was ready to jump over the table and yell at him when he started texting and moved a lot slower during censoring and not really focusing. This is what bothered me b/c he wasn't able to stay past 5pm and, being the nice person that i am, told the manager i would stay until it was finished. So when he was not moving quickly it became frustrating b/c i was like DAMN! this is going to be waaaaay more for me to do and i'm not gonna get out of here until waaaay late! So I just kind of went with it, and i was like you have to pick your battles, and this was not one i wanted to fight about. But i was getting frustrated. So anyways, about half way through, i was like we should switch places (since i was quicker at censoring) so we did, and it picked up our pace a little bit, but not near enough. I kept comparing to it when E-Shawn and I did the shipment. The two of us made a great team b/c she was quick at censoring and i was quick at unpacking, and so we could knock out about 5 boxes in an hour. Needless to say, Moses and I knocked out about 7 boxes in 2 hours...which is a lot slower than i would have liked, b/c in the amount of time we were there, we should have easliy gotten through all the boxes, but it was okay. I just now will be going into work tomorrow from 1-8:30pm instead of only 4-8:30pm to help out with shipment in the morning. :/ oh well, more hours equals more money which equals a better paycheck, so i can't complain to much. :) But I won't be putting up with the slow pace and texting for much longer before I have to let them know I feel slowed down working with him...and I really don't want to have to do that, b/c then i would just feel awful. :( But i also can't feel like i'm slowed down either. I guess I will just have to give it time, and if in a month he's still moving slow, I might have to say something. :/
Anyways, on another note, Nathan and I had talked about meeting each others family over the course of the next couple of weeks. I'm dosing up on allergy medicine now so that if we do get it coordinated I don't die when i go and meet his mom. She has cats, and i'm super duper allergic to cats. So bad that i'm usually able to be in a house for about 20-30 minutes max before i'm feeling like i can't breathe and my throat gets itchy and my eyes are watering, but i'm going to be a trooper and hope that the medicine will keep me not feeling as bad. I would hate it if i was only able to be there for such a short time, I would feel really bad, :/ but i just can never tell what my allergies will do, or how they will react to certain situations, (sometimes they are really bad, and other times not so much) so I'm hoping by taking medicine now, that will help somewhat later. :/

b/c i said i would....
Okay, so here's the run down of the rest of my days off hanging out with nathan...
This morning started off with an adventure of many adventures. We decided we were going to check out the planetarium and museum that i kept seeing on my drive home and had thought would be a fun adventure to check out sometime. Well, go figure, when we showed up it was closed :( but it was alright, b/c this just allowed us to drive around and explore some more. We turned on one road, then turned onto another, and before we knew what had happened, we somehow made a circle back to where we had started! I got a tour (in the daylight) of the things to do around his town, and by the end of the day, i actually started to feel like i knew where i was going. The actuality of that, probably remains that i still have no clue but, it was fun none the less. :) After driving around and grabbing lunch at Applebees, we came up with a mission. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, was to buy george some crickets, so he'd have something to eat. The crickets were gross and scary, i didn't like them at all. OH, george is a gecko btw (which might make more sense as to why he was eating crickets..lol)...not to think we were feeding somebody crickets or something like that. Anyways after we got the crickets (which Nathan made me hold, and i was like ewwwww) we headed over to BAM (books a million...for those of you who don't know..) and puttsed around there for a bit. He picked up a book to read, and i flipped through some magazines. I went and looked through the hairstyles magazine, b/c i had been contemplating cutting my hair short, and thought why not look up some styles...i found two that i thought were cute, and i asked nathan which one he liked better and i went with that one! :) I'm really happy with the way it turned out and I'm so glad the long layers are gone. My new hair is shoulder length, and i'm loving it so much more, not to mention i now will be wearing my hair down a lot more, which will be good. :)
Along our journey we made a trip to red box and picked up 3 movies: The A-Team, The Social Network, and Resident Evil 4 (?) I believe. I had been wanting to see The Social Network for awhile now, and it was actually really good! I had no idea how much work went into making facebook, or even the crap the guy went though who made it, it was really interesting to hear and watch as the story unfolded, it makes me appreciate facebook for what it is a little bit more! :)
The A-Team was also really good. I remember James and Loni wanting me to go and see it in college, and i was like i'm not going to like that movie...but it surprised me, and i actually thought it wasn't that bad. Not what i had in mind for that plot, but it was sooooo much better, so i enjoyed watching it, and thought it was also really good.
The other movie, resident evil, i kind of knew a little bit about the games, (not that the movie was like it..but it's based from it..so i guess so..) was mmmm okay i guess. I mean, it held my attention and i was getting into it, but the overall idea i would have to say is better as a game, that's for sure. The graphics were not so great, but i think the story sort of helped with it a little bit...not enough, b/c at some points you couldn't help but laugh, but i mean if i was made to watch it again...needless to say, it wouldn't be the end of the world. :)
After watching a couple of these movies, Brandon, Amber, and Kenzie showed up and we all went out to dinner at this delicious seafood place....not that i would know b/c i had a salad (or rabbit food as Nathan likes to refer to it as). But the salad was delicious! In fact I ate it with the tomatoes, and onions that i normally would take off of it, and it was still good.....minus the fact i had onion breath the rest of the night. haha! :/
After dinner we went back and called it a night. I was tired, and was ready to be a bum and do nothing. :) lol.
Next Day (or Today, as some would say):
Today was especially hilarious, b/c i'm always a blob (hense the blog name) and Nathan is always like what do you want to do? Stop being a blob..ect. LOL! :) But todaaaay, the tables had turned. It was in fact him who was being blobish. You see, that book he bought at the bookstore had grasped his attention, and he didn't want to put it down! (which i can't blame him for, b/c when you're in the middle of great story it's hard to stop reading.) Anyways, so he started reading that around like 8am this morning, and I was still sleepy, so i continued to sleep for awhile. I looked up at one point and he was on pg 76, and then i fell back asleep and before i knew it he was on pg 230!! At this point I had woken up, and was ready to stop being lazy (seeing as how it was like 11am by this point). So after much (well, i guess not toooo much) convincing, we got up and began to figure out what we were going to do that day. Our day started with yet another adventure. :) We had to figure out where he could get his oil changed in his car, so we drove around, and finally found a place...however they couldn't do it until 3pm, and it was only probably 12:30pm at this point. So we drove back to his house, i blogged, he read, and then we hopped in the car to find something to eat. we took the red box movies back to wal-mart, and then i was like uuuh, you know it's about 2:20 right now?! and he hadn't been paying attention, so we went back and played chinese fire drill with the cars, hopped into his, and went to get his oil changed. After that, we drove around for a little bit, and decided we needed to find something to eat. (we were both super hungry, seeing as how we hadn't eaten all day!) We decided on chinese, and went to this really delicious place near his house. We got it to go, and went back to his place and ate food and popped in a movie. This time it was law abiding citizen, and it was actually really good. :) I wasn't sure if i would like it, but it surprised me, and turned out to be a good movie...minus the one gorey scene. after the movie ended i was kicked out, but it was all in the good nature b/c i needed to come home, and he didn't want me to crash on the roads if it was still icy in places. :) (I secretly think he wanted to finish his book, and knew if i was there he wouldn't be able to..hahaha!!) But who knows...i guess maybe he will blog about it, and then we'll know. :) haha!!! <3
Now I'm just sitting at home popping in and out of facebook and talking to my brother. Not much else is going on, just the same old same old. :) well I think i may go put on some comfy clothes and pop in a movie....until tomorrow....

oops...
so i've been neglecting my blogs these past couple of days.. :/ i've been busy, so i haven't had time to post anything new.
the other day i (oops, forgot to do this.. :/) was supposed to unload the dishwasher due to mom logic from me being called out of work. however when i got started, my dad called and had said that all flights going out of charlotte douglas international airport had been cancelled, so this meant that mom and i had to go pick him up. well, technically i didn't have to go, but i thought i'd go and see how bad 85 was, and if it wasn't that bad i thought i'd drive down later and go see nathan. Well, what was supposed to be an hour and a half trip turned out to be a little bit longer. we got my dad, and almost all the way home, only for the president of his company to call him and tell him he was stuck in the same airport, so mom, dad, and i drove back to the airport to pick him up and go out to lunch. we ended up going to olvie garden (again) and had soup salad and breadsticks. after lunch, we took him back to the airport so that he could get a rental car and drive to atlanta and catch a flight from there. my dad then opted out of driving to FL that day...which he had been contemplating over lunch.
so after this "adventure," as my mom likes to call it, was over, i decided to text nathan and see what he was up to, and see how the roads near him were. He told me he was stuck at brandon's b/c his road was like a popcicle..haha! (but it really was though..it was worse than outside of my house..which always ends up a slushy/icy mess!) well i told him if he could escape, i would come visit...he said he would try, and had successs, so i started along my journey in the icy snow slush. It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, considering by that time, most of the roads had been cleared up pretty well. :) so i drove out and met them at the gas station, and then we headed back to brandon's to eat japnese food and chill for awhile. after that, nathan and i headed back to his place in my car, so brandon could take nathan's car to work in the morning if need be. that was pretty much it for that night, and i'm tired of typing, so i'll write more about our next day adventure later on...until then...

It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be, considering by that time, most of the roads had been cleared up pretty well. :) so i drove out and met them at the gas station, and then we headed back to brandon's to eat japnese food and chill for awhile. after that, nathan and i headed back to his place in my car, so brandon could take nathan's car to work in the morning if need be. that was pretty much it for that night, and i'm tired of typing, so i'll write more about our next day adventure later on...until then...

Snow Day!
Well from thinking that today was going to be a bad, it actually turned out to be alright! :) I woke up this morning to find about 6 inches or so of snow covering the ground, which meant I wasn't entirely sure how i was going to get work, but i knew i had to at least try. I got up, got ready, and then headed outside to dig my way out of a snowball encompassing my car! I dug and scraped, and finally broke free, and was thankful that there wasn't a sheet of ice underneath all the snow. So once i freed my car, i had brave the white outside and drive to work. I got about as far as the front of my neighborhood when i lost control of my car, and it was everything to stay on the road and not swerve off. It was at this point, that my better reasoning told me i needed to go back home and figure out another option to going to work. well i attempted to call out, but that failed b/c nobody picked up the phone at work. So i was left with one other option of having my dad take me to work. I finally arrived some 45 minutes after what was supposed to be, but safe, which i guess is the important thing here. when i showed up i worked all day building and destroying the denim wall, which was a lot of hard work! my hard work payed off though, when kim later bought us gift cards from starbucks for having come in the treacherous conditions to work and help out with floor set. I was glad that she was cool about it was nice to know she didn't really want to be there anymore than we did. haha. we later found out that we had the option of staying open or closing, and we opted to stay, so that we could get through floorset, but only saw about 9 customers in about 3 hours! I guess most people wanted to do the safe thing and stay inside and curl up by the fire....which i don't blame them for! :) anyways, some 5 and half hours later, i finally got out of work and headed home with the parentals. i then texted nathan, and told him i hoped he was having a good day, and drove safe if he had to go to work. he thought it'd be really funny to tell me he got in a car crash and his leg was all banged up and he was in the hospital. well me being the skeptic, at first thought he was kidding, and then i was like OMG i think he's serious. and when i told my mom, we in the process of figuring out where he would be to go and visit (yea...i was gonna go to a hospital..and I HATE hospitals...), when he told me he was only kidding.....grrr, boys are so dumb sometimes, but i was definitely glad to know that he was okay! :-)
so after that, i haven't really done a whole lot of anything..just played bubble shooter for awhile and now decided to blog..but otherwise my day is going well...i'm crossing my fingers hoping that i might possibly get the day off tomorrow (doubtful), as well as hoping this weather gets better enough to drive in so i can go see nathan on wednesday! I guess only time will tell. for now i will sit here and watch the crazy kids as they have tied themselves to the back of their pickup trucks with water ski ropes and are sledding around the neighborhood, it's so funny to watch! :) I think one of the kids had to improvise and is being pulled around in a mop bucket as opposed to a sled.

I got one...
so here's a thought....why is it that when i try and do something that makes me happy, everybody trys and make me feel bad about my decision?? It's very hard to be nice all the time, when all i really want to do is to just look at them and say "shut it, it's my choice, and i don't care what you think." It's like sometimes i feel like i have to be a bitch just so i can sort things out for myself, before everybody ends up in my head and confuses my thoughts even more. It's so frustrating..like why does it matter what you think? Can't I just do something that makes me happy, and makes sense to me?? I'm not asking you to understand or even to change your way of thinking, I'm just asking you to accept that's how i feel, and not to make me feel like i'm doing something wrong, and i should feel bad for my actions, when i don't.
blah, on another note, i'm looking forward to having wednesday and thursday off! :)
but wow...for trying not to rant..i'm not doing a very good job at this..lol! :/

b/c i'm supposed to do this every day.....
i don't really have much to say yet today so i will just post a little something until later when i have more to say, i suppose. :)
so today i got up and went to work at 7am...that was early, but it was alright, i didn't think it was that bad..i was tired, but not super exhausted. Though i did have to play around in the dust all day taking down and buliding shelves for displays..so i'm really hoping my allergies aren't going to start acting up. while i was working i kept avoiding all the dust clouds, b/c it's cats and dust that i'm super duper allergic to..everything else is just minor..but anyways...my point is, i hope i don't end up sick b/c of the dust. :/
ummmmm, i came home and went out to lunch with my dad to hickory tavern, which was delicious and i got to build my own salad, which is always the best b/c it tastes just the way i want it to :D
anyways...i'm slowly running out of things to say, so i think i'm going to quit here...until i come up with something more entertaining or worthwhile to talk about..haha!

colds..
meh, i don't like being sick...which is why i am really hoping that i am not getting sick..
the last few days i have been in out of feeling like i might be catching something..but i'm hoping it's only allergies and nothing more...i suppose only time will tell.. :/
on another note, i'm wishing i didn't have to get up at the ass crack of dawn in the morning to go to work, but with getting up early comes also some positives...for instance, i will be get off at noon, and i will have the rest of the day to do whatever, but it will still suck having to wake up super early. :(
guess i'm gonna play the most addicting game ever while watching a movie with the fam.

Sometimes...
Sometimes no matter how hard you try, or don't try, people just don't understand. It's like this: you can sit there all day long explaining your side of the story, or your reasonings to back up how you feel, and at the end of it all, they just don't get it, or they just haven't listened to you, and are remaining stubborn in their own way. It's just just frustrating, and makes everything you say feel like they are judging you..I just don't get it sometimes. There are times, I feel, that it's better to say nothing and just not talk about it, b/c they are only just going to continue to try and make you see their POV and that whatever it is you are saying or doing is wrong, and not how it should be. BLAH!
anyways..that was my rant on that...speaking of...i'm trying not to be one of those people who uses a blog as their ranting/venting/complaining page, but every once in awhile, i feel as though I will, just because it's something that I feel strongly about, and will post up here for like the 2 people who actually read this, to read..hahahaha! :) .....but no really..i think i have like 2 followers..maybe more, who read it, but don't follow..not sure. anyways, point being, i'm going to work on not being a venter.
so these past couple of days i've been playing musical chairs with the places i've gotten to sleep, while my grandparents are in town. the first night i was at Nathann's so that was nice, b/c i didn't have to sleep on the couch, and then last night i was all about to sleep on the couch, when i realized my brother had a friend spending the night. this led me to get kicked out of the theater room into his room to sleep...not such a bad thing, b/c not only did i get to sleep in a bed, i got to sleep in the small twin bed he has which is my favorite one b/c it's super comfy and i don't have all the space of my stupid big bed in my room. :) I'm thinking maybe within the next couple of days i might have to make the switch of the beds and go back to having a twin bed so i can sleep better at night. needless to say, sleeping in his room last night i slept like a rock. i was knocked out until like 11 o'clock today, and i probably passed out last night around like midnight or so..so i got my much needed catch up on rest! :)
well my computer is dying and i need to get up and shower so i can go out to lunch with the fam...so this is ta ta for now..until later.....

today i don't feel like doing anything....
lol > the blog post title is from the lazy song by bruno mars..which i enjoy listening to from time to time. :)
but yea, anyways...today i woke up at nathan's and then headed off to work for a bajillion hours..okay, not really it was only 5, but still...
during work, moses and i had to work on shipment and unpacking boxes and sorting them out, which was a lot of work but having the both of us there to help out made it feel like it went by a lot faster than normal. they called and wanted me to go back into work tomorrow to do shipment, but my grandparents are in town for only a few more days, so i told them we had plans and i wouldn't be able to...i kind of feel bad, but then again not so much b/c i went in before on my day off and that sucked! so this time i was like i'm not going in...and i mean i do want to spend time with my grandparents while they are here. :)
aside from that..uum not much exciting has been going on. after work i ate some pizza, and then we played rage and scategories, which i always text nathan during so i can get help on answers i get stuck on..which is always a benefit even though my family call me a cheater. lol! :) but i mostly say it's okay because he started it when he was playing with his family, and he texted me..so now i just return the favor! :)

I haven't blobbed today...lol.
Last night Kristen spent the night and we stayed up until like 4am and then she woke up and left to go home at like 10ish this morning..needless to say I was exhausted!! Well, I got up, cleaned my room, and got ready for the day. I've been booted to the couch for a few days while my grandparents are in town, but it's okay, b/c I don't really like all the empty space in my stupid big bed, so I actually more or less offered up my bed for them to crash on while they were here. :) Tonight I will head over to Nathan's and crash there, so I won't have to sleep on the couch, and I'm looking forward to that b/c I miss him. The only crummy thing is I have to work in the morning, which means I will have to get up early and head to work, which will be no fun. :(
Lunch today was at olive garden, and it was alright. I ordered soup salad and breadsticks, but I didn't much care for the soup I got with it, so I ate everything but that. I just finished laundry and cleaning up my room, and now I'm going into blob mode for a bit before I go to Nathan's tonight. I'm watching spongebob squarepants with my brother, which is always entertaining.
Oh, I have been sneezing all day today, which I hope doesn't mean I'm getting sick, b/c that would be no fun at all. On that note, when I was at the doctor's yesterday she asked me if I wanted to get a flu shot, and I told her no, like I always do, and then she kind of looked at me like are you suuuure? B/c last year I told her I didn't want one, and then with in a month I had gotten swine flu, and ended up on house arrest not able to go anywhere. It was awful. So this time I had decided that if I end up with the flu, next year for sure I'll most definitely be getting one if she asks. :) haha, so anyways, I hope I'm not getting sick.

Today...
Today I went to the doctors. She told me I should try counseling and/or medicine for my anxiety.
After that I went to work. Work was the same old same old, lots to do and feeling like I got nothing accomplished, even though I did get through a lot. It was funny though when Jared walked into the back room carrying a mannequin and said "oh, she needs to lose some weight, she's getting heavy." Otherwise work was pretty much work, nothing to special. I had to stay an hour later b/c nobody had been scheduled from 4-5 and our manager can't stay in the store alone, so I was kind of stuck having to say yes, but I guess more money is always a good thing, considering I bought a shirt when I got off work today. :)
That was my busy part of the day, now I'm just sitting here thinking about what I'm going to do next, and waiting for Kristen to show up.
I miss Nathan, I thought about being sneaky today and showing up at his work when I got out of work, but then I remembered that Kristen was coming, and that kind of ruined that plan. Well, that, and I'm not exactly sure which place it is that he works. I could have been driving around lost for awhile. Which, if you're me, isn't a hard thing to do. Lol! :)
Well, that's all for now, or until I think of something else to rant on about. :)

This is my blog...I am blob.. (hey that rhymes...sort of...)
So today I woke up at the crack of dawn and went to work.
It was not a fan of having to leave Nathan's to go to work at 7am, but it had to be done. :(
It was cold outside, and I wanted to stay there.
I left at 7:30, drove fast to get home, thankfully didn't hit any traffic, and made to work in just the nick of time, only to find out I had a bunch of boxes to unpack for shipment. :(
New policy was introduced today, not sure if I like it, but I guess it will grow on me in time.
The Downside, I now have to work EVEN faster. OIY.
On my lunch break I talked to Nathan, which was nice b/c it was a nice break from looking at boxes all day. haha.
I ate a spinach stromboli for lunch, it was delicious, until I got about 3/4 of the way through it and realized that it wasn't cooked all the way through and I had been eating dough the entire time...which was an unpleasant thought to say the least.
Doctor's appointment tomorrow morning.
That means I will have to go to sleep early tonight b/c chances are when I get out of there, I'll have to to go work tomorrow too.
(I'm on call from noon to four...)
On the upside, Kristen is coming into town! :)
So I will get to see her and we can discuss our cruise/birthday plans in further detail, and possibly book something.
Yea, that was my day.
Nothing out of the ordinary for this blob...except maybe an uncooked stromboli. :/
